School is closed for the Thanksgiving Holiday on Thursday, November 23 and Friday, November 24.

Monday, November 20!  Please send money in an envelope marked “BAKE SALE” for your child to shop!  Prices range from $.50 to $5.00.

School is dismissed at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, November 16 for parent-teacher conferences.

November 15 from 6:00-7:oo p.m. All Pre-K students and their parents are invited to an evening of fun-filled exercise and sports games. Registration is $15 per child in advance through Neon and $20 in cash/check/credit card at the door. Siblings are welcome!

Tuesday, November 14 – K & 1st 5:45-6:35 pm; 2nd & 3rd 6:40-7:30 pm; 4th & 5th 7:35 to 8:25 pm.  Parent participation and sneakers are required! The cost is $15 per child in advance through Neon or $20 at the door. Siblings are welcome (including MNS graduates)!

The book fair will run during school hours on Tuesday, November 14, Wednesday November 15 and Friday November 17 and you can visit with your child’s class! The book fair will also be opened the evening of November 16 during conferences.

Photo Re-Shoot Day is Wednesday, November 8. If you would like your child to be photographed, please email photoday@mnspta.org by Friday, November 3rd and include your child’s name and classroom/teacher.

School will be closed on Tuesday, November 7 due to Election Day.  Join fellow MNS families on the day off from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. at Dave and Buster’s in Times Square for MNS Spirit Day!

Celebrate the array of diverse nationalities that make up the MNS community at the International Festival, Saturday, November 4 from 3 to 5 p.m., hosted by the PTA’s Global Committee.

Bring your excess Halloween candy to drop off Wednesday, November 1 through Friday, November 3 and the PTA’s MNS Cares committee will donate it to Freedom House, a shelter for women and children.
