School will be closed from Monday, December 25 until Monday, January 1 due to Winter Break. School will resume on Tuesday, January 2. Happy holidays!

Winter Concerts for the upper grades will be held this week! Concerts will be held at 8:45 a.m. in the fourth floor Auditorium. Check the school calendar for specific dates.

Lunch club begins on December 11.

The BurgerFi FUNdraiser is Wednesday, December 6, from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. BurgerFi will generously donate 15% from each PS 290 order. You must show the flyer prior to ordering!

The PTA is expressing appreciation for all MNS teachers and staff by funding the annual MNS Staff Holiday Party and we need your help! We are collecting a nominal amount of $5 from each child that will directly fund the party. If you would like to participate, backpack your donation in the envelope marked “Teacher Holiday Party” that has been sent home with your child by Thursday, November 30, or donate through Neon by Friday, December 1.

Deadline for orders is this Wednesday, November 29! Check out the order form under the “fundraising” tab of this website for details.

Look for your Lunch Club Registration packets to be backpacked home some time this week.  Lunch Club will run from Monday, December 11, 2017 through Friday, March 16, 2018.  Deadline to return your Lottery Form is Monday, November 27.

A list of raffle prizes and tickets have been backpacked home!  Please send in the tickets with your payment in a sealed envelope addressed to “Raffle Tickets” by November 29 or stop by the week of November 27 – December 1 outside of school during drop-off or pick-up to check out the prizes and purchase tickets in person.  

Please keep an eye out for the Fall Online Auction link that will be emailed out on Black Friday, November 24th!  Sports classes, spa packages, restaurant gift certificates and other amazing holiday gifts are available!  The fall online auction ends on Friday, December 1. Good luck!
